Why Sclerology is such a big deal!

by Dr. David Holden, Principal, Institute of Applied Iridology and Sclerology

Sclerology is the art and science of interpreting the lines in the whites of the eyes for their health implications. These lines quickly reveal constitutional pre-dispositions, weak tissues, causes and effects of the symptom-patterns that affect peoples health. The diagnostic usefulness of Sclerology compared to Iridology is simply that the lines in the sclera change far more rapidly than signs in the iris, giving a faster diagnostic picture of health issues. Both sciences are compatible with each other.

"Sclerology and Iridology are two separate views of the individuals' stress patterns. Both sciences are windows to understanding health. However, each presents a unique view and thus they work well together to give the interpreter a broad view of insights."

"I credit Sclerology as a major reason for the success I've had in helping solve key issues for people, often when other methods have failed. This is because Sclerology allows me to quickly see what the constitutional stresses are. Once I know the key issues, I can design programs based on what the body reveals, not just the symptoms or lab work." This is how I diagnose from medical & non-medical sources.

"Most people have heard of iridology, the study of the patterns in the iris of the eye. Sclerology is similar in that the lines reflect the stress patterns in the different parts of the body. For example if the thyroid is weak, then the thyroid line reflects stress in the sclera.. However Sclerology is not a duplication of the iris information. There are advantages to both systems."

With Sclerology, the cause of stress is easily identified because the lines start somewhere (the cause) and end somewhere (the effect). Since the surface area of the sclera is so large, the lines are easily discernible. This means that cameras, magnifiers and grids are not necessary, though helpful, to make an accurate sclera analysis."

"One facet of Sclerology I really appreciate is that the lines change relatively quickly. This means that if nutritional therapy is correct the lines fade or change shape within a short time proving the effectiveness of the program."

"Also it is important to have more than one 'witness' to a health condition because it makes for a more complete understanding of the deeper cause of a persons health concerns. With Iridology and Sclerology combined, the practitioner has two witnesses right in one area of expertise, making for a much more comprehensive understanding."

Sclerology is easy to learn. It is unique in that it only takes a short while to learn 90% of what is valuable. The remaining 10% comes with practice. People with a background in iridology or other natural healing arts can learn Sclerology simply by coming to the seminar and completing the course material."

ABOUT DR JACK TIPS

Foremost in the US field of Sclerology is Dr. Jack Tips ND, PhD, CCN. CHom, author of "The Art and Science of Sclerology Certification Course, Insights in the Eyes", and President of the International Sclerology Institute. He is well known in the US for his eight books in the natural health field including : "The Pro-Vita Plan For Optimal Nutrition," "The Weight Is Over," and "Your Liver - Your Life", which has been promoted by the famous motivational coach, Anthony Robbins."

"All serious Iridologists need to consider Sclerology as a vital part of
their diagnostic method"
David Holden, ND

Dr. Jack Tips was a personal protégé of Dr. Alexander Stuart Wheelwright, the modern-day founder of the of Sclerology. Jack has captured all the original information and included it in the Institute's Sclerology Certification course - the foundation of all Scleragraphic information in the world.

"Having heard Jack present at the 1998 Iridology Conference in the US, I can verify that Jack is an excellent, fascinating teacher. Those attending his workshops will quickly learn how to interpret the sclera to reinforce and improve data from any other analysis."

David Holden now teaches Sclerology in New Zealand, but Jack visits regularly as he loves the people and land "Down Under". He is a wealth of information on topics other than Sclerology so don't miss an opportunity to attend any of his workshops. They are always advertised through the Institute of Applied Iridology & Sclerology here in New Zealand.
