SCLEROLOGY TECHNOLOGY

Sclerology is an art and science that does not require equipment. For years, the tools of the sclerologist have been a simple chart and a red pen. Occasionally a magnifying lens was used. Prior to that, a stick and lines in the sand registered sclera records.

However with Internet technology, a new era of Sclerology has dawned. With digital photography, charts are made with zero margin of error. After the therapeutic efforts, the charts can be photographed again showing actual changes in the line patterns. In addition to this high degree of accuracy, digital photography opens communication among Sclerologists for second opinions and sharing of information.
