Commentaries In The Sclera: PMS

Head Zone: Left Sclera: Focus on Pituitary Lines

Person: Female, Born 12.3.54

Presenting Chief Complaints: History of female hormonal imbalance. Late menarch (onset of menses), late puberty, pre-menstrual syndrome symptoms include depression, mood swings, breast swelling and soreness. Syncope (dizziness, fainting) during premenstrual time. Late growth spurt (age 17), at which time acne developed. Episodes of awkwardness; drops things. Sensitive to criticism. Pre-menstrual heart palpitations. Suppression of anger due to repressive home environment. Often experiences formication (tingling like ants crawling under skin) when going to bed. Sex drive is low to non-existent even though overall energy level is fine.

Commentary: The key to this case is found in the Pituitary stress pattern as revealed by the most prominent pair of lines that originate at 11:45. This pattern is compounded with the nerve stress line, though a lighter line, that originates at 11:00 and crosses the head zone horizontally. Thus, we see a triangulation of two pituitary stress lines with a nerve line.

There are two lines originating in the pituitary area. One ends in a red dot indicating the area bearing the end result of one stress pattern. This dot area is in the “equilibrium center” and thus accounts for the episodes of awkwardness. It is possible there is a growth, cyst, or swelling of tissue in this area putting pressure on other areas.

The second pituitary line starts parallel to the first line at 11:45, but crosses and moves into the zone of the senses such as touch, taste, etc. This stress pattern originates with the pituitary and effects other areas. Here we see the stress pattern that reflects the nerve symptoms of the "ants crawling" sensation.

These two distinct lines originating in the pituitary area, verify that there are two causes or patterns of stress in this area. From her health complaints, the pituitary is a factor in the female hormonal problems. From her history, we also know there is also a pituitary concern regarding growth and development of secondary sex characteristics. Thus, both lobes of the pituitary are reflected in the sclera. So this is a case of the entire pituitary gland being involved in the overall health complaints.

Since the nerve line at 11:00 involves the "sex impulse" area of the brain, this stress pattern reflects the lack of sex drive. When combined with the hormonal stress pattern, there are two causes of that one symptom.

Note also that the two pituitary lines have light traveling lines that are connecting with the thyroid/parathyroid zones at 9:30. This is further indication of hormonal regulatory imbalances.

She had tried various therapies including thyroid medication, estrogen (both prescription and natural), progesterone (natural), Prozac, and related antidepressants. The sclera provided the key for understanding this case. When the appropriate herbal pituitary and nerve support were provided, in conjunction with homeopathic therapy that centered on suppression of anger and self expression, success was obtained.
